Online Continuing Dental Education

The Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia (PDBNS) is a legislated body mandated to protect the public interest in matters related to the delivery of dental care. One of the ways the PDBNS fulfills this mandate is by ensuring that dentists and registered dental assistants engage in continuing education throughout their careers.

To facilitate access to the mandatory course on the Management of Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office, the PDBNS is offering an online asynchronous (“on-demand”) course on this site. Registrants are free to take courses from other providers to fulfill this requirement and are in fact encouraged to seek training on this topic beyond the minimum requirement.
